Manchester United winger Antony stated that his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he believes to be the top player in the world, is teaching him a lot.

For Β£85.5 million, Antony transferred from Ajax to the Red Devils toward the end of the summer transfer season.

United struggled to convince Ajax to give up the Brazilian, but they eventually got him.

On September 4, the Red Devils defeated Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford, and he made his debut with a stunning goal.

The Brazilian winger, who replaced Ronaldo in that game, has been talking about how the iconic forward has influenced his game.

On the club’s official website, Antony stated:

"Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world. In just a few days, I've learnt a lot from him. He has an extraordinary mind and, whenever I talk to him, I take a lot from it."

Ronaldo has had a smaller role this season for Erik ten Hag’s team after starting United’s last four Premier League games on the bench.

Since moving from Ajax, Antony has started the Red Devils’ past two games in all competitions.

A young Ronaldo’s skill set has been compared to that of the former Sao Paulo winger, and he has mentioned it:

"It's what I've always done. not only for this team but for every team I've ever played for. Ever since I was a young child, I have been doing it. It's something I've always done; it's one of my traits."

He stated:
