Chelsea had a good chance of winning the Champions League match at Stamford Bridge. But failed and were forced to settle for a draw.

Chelsea drew their Champions League game against RB Salzburg on Wednesday night, a disappointing result against a talented but not world-class team.

But the Blues had plenty of chances to win it, but they couldn’t capitalise on them.

There was the shot by Sterling that was blocked in the 39th minute, followed by a volley by Mason Mount, the Havertz miskick after the break, and the flurry of final-minute opportunities.

Essentially, we did more than enough to take all three points, and we should be more concerned with our performance than with our final score.
