This certainly goes up to the top of the category of ‘things you love to see’ this week, no doubt about it.
After a turmoil time the last few seasons and coming through a very serious injury, midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back training at Cobham ahead of another season.
Will he stay and become part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad? Or will he be heading back out on loan or even a permanent move away from his boyhood club?… We do not know.

Loftus-Cheek’s rise through Chelsea’s youth ranks was quick but not unexpected, considering the natural abilities he could wield.
His best moment came under Maurizio Sarri, who used Loftus-Cheek 40 times in all competitions. That prompted Gareth Southgate to include him in England’s 2018 World Cup camp.
Reportedly Sarri is eager on a reunion with Loftus-Cheek at Lazio, which could be an intriguing challenge as Thomas Tuchel is on players experiment during the ongoing pre-season.
