Yaya Toure says Chelsea star is harder to tackle than people think.

The former Manchester City star player (Yaya Toure) admitted that Chelsea wonder N’Golo Kante is really difficult to tackle when he uses his diminutive figure in a certain way.

On writing for The Athletic, Toure made it clear that Kante used his behind to the best of its abilities when shielding the ball from opponents.

The Frenchman is usually known for depriving his rivals of possession through tackling or intercepting.

Kante only lost the ball 15 times last season in the Premier League according to WhoScored.com

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – MAY 08: N’Golo Kante of Chelsea is closed down by Rodrigo of Manchester City during the Premier League match between Manchester City and Chelsea at Etihad Stadium on May 08, 2021

Yaya Toure supported the statistics by revealing what its like to come up against the Parisian’s rock had rump.

What Toure said;

“N’Golo Kante can be very hard to get the ball off him when he uses his body in this way — he is not the biggest player and already has a low centre of gravity so when he sticks his bum out even lower to receive the ball from deep, tackling him must feel like trying to kick a stone.”
