Chelsea are hopeful that Antonio Rudiger will renew his contract before it expires in the summer according to report.
As per Sunday World, there is ‘increasing hope’ from within Stamford Bridge surrounding the Rudiger’s future.
Antonio Rudiger’s contract situation has been one of the season’s most talked-about storylines. With each week he failed to extend his stay, the talk of the centre-back’s possible departure grew.
Now, it appears only Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are in the race to land Chelsea’s fearsome defender, where it once also the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Even then, neither Bayern nor PSG have made any serious attempts to lure Rudiger away from London.
Possibly because the player has decided he wants to carry on his journey with Thomas Tuchel, the manager who made him the valuable asset we see today.
Sunday World also suggested the centre-half’s possible change in attitude might be something to do with his family.
“My kids were born here in London, so that tells you that my family feels great here,” he said just a few days ago.
