Chelsea duo Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount are currently having to self-isolate after their Blues team mate Billy Gilmour tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
The trio met in Englandβs clash with Scotland in Friday evening, and Gilmour then tested positive for Covid-19.
Luckily, Gilmour is well and has no symptoms, he is just very upset about missing what is likely to be the rest of the Euros, unless Scotland can mount a run in the competition.
All the England players were then tested, and they all returned a negative Covid-19 test. However, it was revealed yesterday that only Mount and Chilwell must also self-isolate.
Chelsea fans were left very confused by this, naturally.
But The Telegraph have revealed the reason why these two must self-isolate, and could potentially miss the match tonight and maybe more.
Gilmour, Mount, and Chilwell met up in the tunnel after the game and chatted for around 20 minutes, which deems them a risk, more than anyone else Gilmour came in contact with.
