The Blues "won" as Conor Gallagher scores a stunning winner against his former side

On Saturday, October 1, Chelsea defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 thanks to a late goal. With 13 points from seven games as a result, the Blues move up to fifth place in the standings.

Chelsea entered this match fresh off a 2-1 victory over West Ham United in their previous league contest. Since then, the club has fired Thomas Tuchel and replaced him with Graham Potter. Chelsea started the game slowly and appeared to be having some team chemistry issues. They paid the price for their carelessness early on in the game when Crystal Palace unexpectedly took the lead.
