
Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has raved about the quality of Chelsea this afternoon, who he feels have a team stacked with “world-class talent”.
Villa host Chelsea this Sunday in a fascinating Premier League fixture with plenty riding on it.
For Gerrard’s side, they sit 16th in the league table due to their inconsistent form. With the fanbase quite vocal in their frustration towards the manager, you feel this weekend is a really important game for the Midlands club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are five games unbeaten since Graham Potter took charge as the new head coach at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have climbed up to fourth in the league standings and are moving in the right direction.

Gerrard raved about Chelsea
Villa’s manager has waxed lyrical about his side’s upcoming opponents in the league.
“They’re (Chelsea) a team full of world-class talent. They’ve got academy kids who’ve developed and become top players,” Gerrard said.
“They’ve recruited extremely well. They’ve changed manager of late and seem to be in a honeymoon period.”

If you look at Chelsea’s squad of players, it’s definitely a super talented group that should be competing across the board for silverware.
Potter’s men should get all three points on the weekend if they play at their best against Villa, but it could be an awkward trip if they do go behind.
