Sheikh Jassim, who is leading the race to take over Manchester United, would like to work closely with club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if his takeover bid is successful.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make a surprise return to Manchester United if Sheikh Jassim wins his bid to gain ownership of the club.

Solskjaer failed to win a title during his three years as manager before being fired in November 2021.

Following a difficult time under Ralf Rangnick, United hired Erik ten Hag later in the 2021/22 season, and fans are pleased with the progress achieved under the Dutchman.

Despite falling drastically short of Manchester City’s standards previous season, United did win the Carabao Cup and qualify for the Champions League, as well as reach the FA Cup final, where they were barely defeated by City.

As a result, there is no likelihood that Manchester United will hunt for a new manager in the near future. Sheikh Jassim, on the other hand, has stated that he would be delighted to welcome back club legend to Old Trafford.

With his last-second goal against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final at the Nou Camp, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer most definitely qualifies as a “legend.”
