Chelsea have remained rather quiet in the transfer market over the last few weeks, but that certainly doesn’t mean they will have a quiet summer.
Luckily, there are two months still remaining in the transfer window, with plenty of time to get players sold and any potential arrivals in.
No doubt Chelsea will be working on things behind the scenes though, and it has always appeared to be a new striker that is the club and Thomas Tuchel’s priority for the summer.
The transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has been speaking on this once again in his column via Bench Warmers.
Romano claims that Chelsea will ‘certainly’ buy a new striker this summer, but there is no decision yet to be made on which striker that will be, with Dortmund hoping to keep hold of main target Erling Haaland.
They are also ‘pending’ on a final decision for the next club of Tammy Abraham, who is widely expected to leave this summer.
