Luke Shaw has disclosed that he has held private discussions with Harry Kane and Declan Rice over the pair joining Manchester United this summer.
Shaw has openly stated that he has tried to persuade his England teammates to come to Old Trafford while they are on international duty with their country.
Kane and Rice have both been linked to United, however both deals may be challenging given the club’s ongoing takeover struggle.

Erik ten Hag has been speculated to be a huge fan of the England captain, thus Tottenham are reluctant to let Kane leave.
Manchester United are also interested in Declan Rice, but he has been linked with a number of teams, with Arsenal said to be the current frontrunners to sign him.
However, Shaw has not ceased talking to Kane and Rice about a possible switch to Old Trafford.

‘I’d love them to join United, I am not going to lie,’ Shaw said about the pair. ‘I am telling them how good Manchester United is because I know their qualities.
‘They are both world-class players who would improve our team massively.
‘They have been here the last couple of days and, hopefully, they like it and can get used to it!’
