Raheem Shaquille Sterling MBE (born December 8, 1994) is a professional footballer from England.

Raheem Sterling plays as a winger and attacking midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team. He began his career at Queens Park Rangers before signing for Liverpool. made his senior debut for England in November 2012 after previously being capped by England youth teams at under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels.
Later, he contributed to Manchester City‘s back-to-back Premier League championships in 2017–18 and 2018–19. He was selected for the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the 2018–19 campaign and was named the PFA Young Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year.

He was chosen in England’s squads for the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and 2018, and the UEFA European Championship in 2016 and 2020.
He was awarded the Golden Boy award in 2014. In July 2015, following a lengthy dispute over a new contract, he was signed by Manchester City in a transfer potentially worth £49 million.

Sterling committed to Chelsea on July 13, 2022, for £47.5 million over a five-year period. He made his club debut on August 6, 2022, in a 1-0 away victory over Everton. Sterling’s first goals for the team came in a 2-1 victory over Leicester City on August 27, 2022, when he scored a brace.
