PSV, Besiktas and Feyenoord join chase for Nigeria’s newest goalscoring sensation Ike Ugbo.

Ike Ugbo in action with Cercle Brugge Club in Belgium

Ike Ugbo’s excellent season in the Belgian top-flight is about to be rewarded as three top European clubs have joined the chase for the former England youth international.

Ugbo enjoyed a remarkable spell on loan at Cercle Brugge, where he notched 17 goals in 34 games across all competitions.

The 22-year-old has since returned to his parent club Chelsea after turning down the chance to sign permanently for the Belgian side.

The UEFA Champions League winners have no intention of promoting the Super Eagles hopeful to the first-team squad at Stamford Bridge and are willing to listen to offers for their exciting academy product.

And according to renowned transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano, the trio of Besiktas, Feyenoord, and PSV Eindhoven are the latest sides to be linked with the capture of the young forward.

Ugbo is keen on joining a team where he would be a regular starter as he hopes to impress Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in September.

However, Ugbo will decide his future in the coming days, as he’s just one year left in his contract with Chelsea.

The ex-England U20 international has already pledged his international allegiance to the three-time African champions. He is, however, still awaiting clearance from FIFA to represent the country of birth of his parents.
