Pep Guardiola’s statement that goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, who has participated in every club domestic cup match this season, will play in the final has allayed injuries concerns.
With the Champions League final against Inter Milan coming up next week, a win for City at Wembley would give them two-thirds of a possible treble.
Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, claims he is not planning ahead.
“We should think about what we have to do to win this one game,” he said. “Nothing changes. We analyse the strengths of the opponent and see the weaknesses they have.
