Former Chelsea fans’ favourite Pat Nevin, who played 193 for the Blues has tipped Chelsea forward Kai Havertz to go on to be one of the best players in the world in the near future.

Havertz, who signed from Bayer Leverkusen last summer for £62 million, scored nine goals in his opening season in England. His most important contribution was his winning goal in the Champions League final.
Nevin was asked which Chelsea player could surprise next season when speaking to Press, on behalf of British Gambler.
He said: “It’s hard to pick just one, but I’ll go with Kai Havertz.

I think he has the potential to be one of the best players on the planet, I think he’s got the capabilities to be talked about like the other top players in a few years’ time.
A lot of people might say they saw it coming when it happens, but it’s difficult to see other players capable of doing what he can do in the next couple of years.

Havertz as a technical player, will be up there with the very best in the world.”
Chelsea will be hoping to add more silverware this season following their recent success in the UEFA Super Cup. Expect to see Havertz play a big role in Thomas Tuchel’s team.
