Mykhailo Mudryk Oleksandr reveals Zinchenko Zinchenko’s joke about decision join Chelsea

Report: The British public’s support for Ukraine, according to Mykhailo Mudryk, “means a lot,” and he reveals Oleksandr Zinchenko’s jokes about his decision to join Chelsea rather than Arsenal.

It was clear that Mudryk and Mikel Arteta‘s team shared a mutual admiration for one another as they made no secret of their intention to recruit Mudryk during the most recent transfer window. On social media, the former Shakhtar Donetsk star gave both Arsenal and Arteta himself great appreciation, thus it came as quite a surprise when Arteta eventually moved to Stamford Bridge.

Due to their shared experience representing Ukraine at the international level, Mudryk is well familiar with Zinchenko. He even had a private interview with the Arsenal star’s wife, journalist Vlada Sedan, during which he admitted to harboring dreams of wearing the Gunners’ jersey.

Given that Chelsea and Shakhtar had easily come to an agreement, where Mudryk genuinely wanted to go wasn’t so much of a priority, and he was left with little choice but to sign on the dotted line for the Blues.

Zinchenko has expressed his dissatisfaction with how the transfer drama played out, but the 26-year-old has also described how he gave Mudryk some advice after the move.
