Manchester City have made a huge sum of £100m plus offer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, and the offer could also involve players.

This is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who posted the latest information on this story this afternoon.

Whilst Tottenham are expected to reject the offer and have no intention of selling, seeing City’s intentions clear as daylight here may well give Chelsea a push in their pursuit to sign Erling Haaland.

Kane and Haaland are seen as two of the best strikers in the world right now, and if City manage to land Kane this summer.

it will strengthen them even more, and if Chelsea are wanting to challenge them for the title this season, they too will need to show the same intent and go and bring in a new big name striker themselves.

Things have gone rather quiet on this though, but that could well be a good thing.

The Telegraph reported at the start of June that Chelsea are stepping up their pursuit of the striker.
