While he did not clearly state whether he thought his opponent Tyrone Mings deserved a red card, he did make a suggestion that Liverpool FC should. “carry on” and “accept” the decision that Brooks made.
“It was a heavy hit but the ref decided to give a yellow card then we have to just carry on,” Gakpo told Astro Super Sport, per the Liverpool Echo. “We just play and accept it.”
