England knocked their rivals Germany out of the Euros last night, beating them 2-0 in the last-16 of the competition to reach the Quarter Finals.
Of course there was heavy Chelsea involvement on the German side, with Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Antonio Rudiger all starting the match for them. No Chelsea starters for England.
It will be considered a blessing from a Chelsea point of view that we will now see Havertz, Werner, and Rudiger all return back home sooner and injury-free, but the disappointment of being knocked out will be clear to see for all three of them.
Havertz was on media duties after the game and he was obviously upset at going out of the Euros.
But as relayed by TV Reporter for Bein Sports, Carrie Brown, there was a ‘large group’ of England/Chelsea supporters trying to cheer Havertz up whilst he did his interview, which would have surely helped him by.
