Chelsea will start next season with a big positive boost to begin their new campaign with.
Some decisions made in matches this season have been more than questionable, and VAR decisions to overturn them or totally miss some big mistakes have been even more questionable.
Well, justice has prevailed with one of our decisions, and their has been a major U-turn by the FA.
Chelsea can now start next season without the prospect of being without club captain Cesar Azpilicueta, who was sent off for lashing out at Jack Grealish late on in Chelsea’s defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend.
Sky Sports have confirmed that after a successful appeal from Chelsea, the FA have overturned Azpilicueta’s red card decision and taken away his three game ban that was set to start next season in the league.
This is good news for Chelsea and will mean they can continue plans for next season with their captain in tow.
