It is well known that Frank Lampard was a big reason behind Thiago Silva joining Chelsea on a free transfer last summer.
The Brazilian international has often spoken about Lampard being the reason he chose Chelsea and Lampard himself was involved in the deal and spoke to Silva about coming to Stamford Bridge.
Silva is generally a classy and respectful guy, but even more so when it now involves Lampard. And his photo and message to Lampard via his Instagram account yesterday wishing his former boss a happy birthday, was just beautiful!
