Roberto Mancini says Chelsea midfielder Jorginho should be this year’s Ballon d’Or winner.
Jorginho ended last season a European champion with both Chelsea and Italy.
At this morning’s World Cup qualifying presser, Mancini was asked who should win the gong
Jorginho has become champion of Europe with both Chelsea and Italy and he is among the candidates to win the Ballon d’Or.
He was named best Champions League player for the 2020-21 campaign and the former Manchester City boss Mancini has no doubts that the Chelsea playmaker should be named the best player in the world for 2021.
“Jorginho I think so. I would give him the Ballon d’Or. He has been doing well for years and this year he has won everything he has played, he deserves it.” Mancini said.
