He Could be Domestic Rival, Blues hesitant to send their £100k-a-week player on loan to Newcastle

Hakim Ziyech may not be loaned out by Chelsea this month, according to recent reports.

The 29-year-old winger for the Blues is reportedly a January transfer target for Newcastle United, Everton, and Roma, according to the Evening Standard.

However, it is stated that Ziyech’s loan to Newcastle is being resisted by Chelsea. This is due to Graham Potter’s team seeing Newcastle, who are 10 points behind them in the Premier League standings, as a key domestic rival.

According to the source, Chelsea is presently debating whether to keep the attacker making £100,000 per week until the end of the campaign.

This month, Ziyech has been constantly associated with moves away from Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea appear unsure of what to do with him.

The wide player with the left foot has recently regained some of his form, forcing his way into Potter’s starting lineup for the previous few games.

Ziyech’s future has been the subject of conflicting rumors, with 90min reporting this week that Chelsea told the Moroccan international he might quit the team in January.

If Newcastle increases their interest in the African winger, it will be interesting to watch what transpires.
