Chelsea seems to have finally had a positive response over their dream Declan Rice move, who was at the Cobham Academy till the age of 14, ultimately released.

The breakthrough, according to The Sun, in the long pursuit seems to have come from West Ham’s big interest to sign Kalvin Phillips in another huge deal.

This does hint that David Moyes is finally getting ready to let go of their English star, and wants to replace him with another talented player, Philips, who incidentally, is also is the England teammate of Rice.

The only trouble might arrive in the form of the fees as West Ham put up a £100m price tag last summer.

West Ham could rather wait until Summer before closing in on any sort of deal for Declan Rice, which inturn gives them time to place a lucrative offer for Phillips.

Tuchel will be more than happy with the recent development provided that he is a long time admirer of Rice and feels his style of play suits that of ours.
