Former Blues defender Fikayo Tomori has said he felt no burdens over his AC Milan price tag – and is pleased to be again linking up with former Blue Olivier Giroud.

Tomori left the club for a fee believed to be £25million on a four-year deal.
With the renaissance of the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen since the German boss took charge, there was no way that Tuchel could offer the English defender the game time he needed at his young age.
Fikayo’s departure in June ended a 16-year association with the club he joined as an under-8.
Now in pre-season training with Stefano Poli’s team ahead of the 2021/22 Serie A season, Tomori opened up to Italian outlet Corriere della Sera on a number of topics.
The first being related to the substantial fee the red side of the city had to pay to acquire his services on a permanent basis, and the effects that’s had on his mentality.
“No burdens, it is a great satisfaction to feel this trust around me,” Tomori said.

“Everyone is helping me.
“I understood it immediately: Milan is the right place for me.”
Olivier Giroud will be reuniting with the defender at the Milanello training ground soon, after the Frenchman’s move to Italy was confirmed.
On the qualities the 34-year-old will bring to Poli’s side, Tomori was full of praise for the veteran striker.
He said: “A very kind person as well as a great forward. He has immense experience, he has played in great teams, always scoring a lot and above all winning a lot.
“He will help us.”
One aspect that both now ex-Chelsea players will look forward to next season is playing with the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimović.
The Swedish striker has played in the Premier League for two seasons with Manchester United, so both players will know already what the 39-year-old is all about.
