what a game!

The Champions League is Europe’s most prestigious competition, and in truth, the final will be the most prestigious sporting events of the year and the fans know the excitement involved. Arguably the biggest game in club football.

The final was due to take place in Russia, however, due to recent events (Russia’s attack and invasion on Ukraine) it has been moved from St. Petersburg to Paris.

The game will be played as initially scheduled on Saturday, May 28, at 21:00 CET.

For the third time in the tournament’s history (the first since 2006), the Champions League final will be held at the Stade de France in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis.

Many of the greatest fans had travelled the world to watch their favourite teams competing for this elusive trophy for over 66 years, with this year’s occasion being the 67th European Cup Final.

Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League final this May. It will be the third time they meet in a final after 1981 (Liverpool 1-0 win) and 2018 (Real Madrid 3-1 victory).

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side beat Villarreal and will now play Real Madrid in the UCL final after they came back against Manchester City.

The winners of this match will automatically qualify for the 2022-23 Champions League Group Stage and earn the right to play in both the 2022 Super Cup Final and the 2022 Club World Cup.
