You are beginning to hear Chelsea’s name mentioned more often than not now when reports circulate on the future of Harry Kane.

As much as I still see this as a near impossible deal for Chelsea to ever get done due to Tottenham being highly unwilling to sell to a London rival, the more this goes on the more you wonder whether Chelsea may actually sneak a cheeky offer in there before this summers window is up.

He has always looked to be Manchester City bound, but ESPN are reporting that they are willing to play the slow game on this pursuit and could even wait another year to land Kane.

The fee being mentioned that could prize Kane away from Spurs this summer is Β£150m, which ironically is the same fee that some have suggested would be enough to prize Erling Haaland away from Dortmund this summer.

So if Chelsea want to land a world class top striker, it looks like this is around the ballpoint they must pay.
