Erling Braut Haaland (born 21 July 2000) is a Norwegian international.

Erling Haaland is a Norwegian football player who plays for Manchester City as a striker. Haaland is regarded as possibly the best young football talent in the world and was acquired by City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022 for Β£51 million.

Haaland has represented Norway at numerous youth levels. Haaland won the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup Golden Boot after scoring a tournament-record nine goals in a single match. He made his senior international debut in September 2019.

In January 2019, Haaland joined Red Bull Salzburg of the Austrian Bundesliga. He has won two league championships and one Austrian Cup. He joined Borussia Dortmund in December 2019, and in 2020 – 21, he won the DFB-Pokal there.

In his professional life, Haaland has received numerous individual honors and set numerous records. He set a record by scoring in five straight UEFA Champions League games for Salzburg during the 2019 – 20 season, becoming him the first youngster to do so. Next season, he led all scorers in the Champions League. As the Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2021 and a member of the FIFA FIFPro World11 in 2021, Haaland received the Golden Boy award in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
