Chelsea XI vs Leicester City Predicted, confirmed team news, and the most recent injury updates for Premier League games
Chelsea Online News:
Graham Potter’s win over Borussia Dortmund relieved some of Chelsea’s anxiety going into its match against Leicester City.
Raheem Sterling is doubtful due to “tightness” in his muscles, and Reece James will not play after missing the Blues’ final training due to illness.
Mason Mount is still doubtful due to a “slight injury” in his abdominal area, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is out with a back injury. Cesar Azpilicueta’s status is unknown after suffering a concussion nearly three weeks ago.
They join Thiago Silva and Armando Broja in missing out due to knee injuries, while Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante are both training but not yet ready for the weekend clash.
After seeing Christian Pulisic return in the 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in midweek, Potter has a significant number of options to cover the missing players in his 32-man squad.

It will be expected that he can identify a group that is capable of defeating Leicester, who are only two points above the drop zone.
Reece James’ absence will likely be covered by Ruben Loftus-Cheek at right wing-back once more, but Sterling’s replacement is less certain.
To replace the England international, one of Conor Gallagher, Mykhailo Mudryk, Pulisic, Noni Madueke, or Hakim Ziyech could be called on.

Chelsea F.C. had won just one of their last 11 games before a switch to a 3-4-3 formation on Tuesday night that has helped save the clubβs season. Back-to-back wins against Leeds and Dortmund mean that Potter will likely not rotate in positions where he isnβt forced to do so.
Leicester, meanwhile, are without left-back Victor Kristiansen, who joins James Justin and Youri Tielemens on the sidelines. Jannik Vestergaard has been dropped following an unsanctioned interview, but Harvey Barnes and Jonny Evans could return.
