Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has sent an emotional message of love and support to England trio Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho following the racist abuse they received recently.

Jadon Sancho, Rashford and Bukayo Saka all missed penalties in the Three Lions ‘ shootout defeat in the Euro 2020 final and were targeted on social media in the aftermatch of the agonising loss.
The world of football has come together to support the trio following the abhorrent abuse and the latest to do that is Eduoard Mendy.
Players, fans, managers and so many other people around the world have waded in with their love, support and protection for the three young lads.
However, Mendy’s message is perhaps a little surprising, given that the shot stopper never played together with any of them. The goalkeeper wrote a lengthy message on his Instagram and Facebook page to show his support for the Arsenal young star and the Manchester United pair.
What Mendy said:
“Football is the sport that brings us together and makes us live incredible emotions together. Behind each player, there is a team, a club, a country, a family and supporters that we want to make proud, whatever our origins. But racism should not exist, either in football or in society. We cannot tolerate this kind of behavior, and we must continue to fight it.

@marcusrashford @sanchooo10 and @bukayosaka87 I sincerely want to bring you and your families my support and tell you how proud you can be. You guys have been and keep being a role modele and a true inspiration for millions of children around the world.
We are together”. Mendy posted on Facebook tagging the England trio.
Mendy has already link up with his Blues teammates in the Cobham and already looks fit and ready for the pre-season matches as the Premier League Season 2021/22 looms
