One of the greatest to ever play the game hung up his boots last week, and Chelsea fans flooded social media with their tributes for the Blues legend.
Eden Hazard will forever be fondly remembered as one of the best ever Chelsea players and probably, a top 5 legend of the club. He was superb in a Chelsea shirt and is absolutely adored by Blues fans.
But what comes next for Eden Hazard? Many fans have been left wondering whether he will stay in football, or even better, whether he will pursue a career in coaching.
But personally for me, I’ve never been able to see Hazard as a coach – It’s just never something that I believe he will end up doing. He loved to play football, but I can’t see him being content on the sidelines.
And his brother, Thorgan, has confirmed that Eden will not be seeking a coaching role.
In words cited by Football London, Thorgan said: “He is mentally and physically not capable of doing that. And we won’t see him in the dugout as a manager, either. He just wants to spend time with his family.”
