Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is wanted by Trabzonspor.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea back in 2016 from Marseille, arriving for a reported €40 million fee. He helped the club to the league title in his debut season in England, scoring the goal that sealed the trophy in a 1-0 win away at West Bromwich Albion.

Chelsea have reportedly given the go-ahead for a move to happen, with Thomas Tuchel keen to upgrade his striking options.

The Blues allowed Olivier Giroud to move to AC Milan on a permanent basis earlier this month.

Roman Abramovich is in the process of raising funds with the club eyeing a £135million move for Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea in 2016 but has only made 77 appearances for the club.

He has been overlooked by the likes of Antonio Conte, Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard, with Tuchel now also not interested in keeping the Belgian around since his return from a loan spell at Crystal Palace.

However, once his departure is finalised, he will become the third striker to leave the club this transfer window. Olivier Giroud completed a move to AC Milan for a nominal fee, and Izzy Brown left on a free transfer to Preston North End.

This has left manager Thomas Tuchel with very few options up front. Tammy Abraham has also been heavily linked with a move away, leaving the German with just Timo Werner. The former RB Leipzig man had a disappointing debut campaign, scoring just six league goals.
