Blues icon Didier Drogba has thanked Kurt Zouma for his contributions to Chelsea’s success following the centre-back’s transfer to West Ham United.

The 26-year-old has officially ended his seven-and-a-half year career at Chelsea and completing a move to West Ham on a reported £29.8m deal (Sky Sports).
It is far from ideal, of course, from the Chelsea fans’ perspective, since West Ham are after all London rivals.
But in his interview with West Ham’s official website, Zouma explained that staying in London is important to him and his family since his children were born in and are used to the city.
The France international has also sent a message to Chelsea on social media, expressing his gratitude towards the club at which he spent the majority of his career.

Drogba, who spent a season at Chelsea with Zouma in 2014/15, was among those who responded to the defender’s farewell message.
“Kurt Zouma Happy Winner,” the Chelsea legend said on Twitter.
“Thank you, son, for keeping the blue flag flying higher.”
