“Another English team attempted to ruin Malo Gusto’s transfer to Chelsea. They attempted to get in touch with Lyon,” said Romano.

“We know the deal lasted roughly ten days from the time Chelsea started holding formal bid talks with Malo Gusto. Another English club attempted, but it was unsuccessful.

“The player wanted Chelsea, Chelsea wanted the player.”

Sounds like everybody involved with the transaction is happy.

Chelsea got their man; Gusto got his transfer.

Now, we just have to wait and see if the dream agreement is all it’s made out to be.
