Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is set to make another move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in the January window.
The Mail says Boehly has forged a close relationship with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, and will make a fresh approach to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The American billionaire also looked at signing Ronaldo in the summer window but former manager Thomas Tuchel made it clear he had no desire to work with him.

Chelsea have looked at options to sign Arsen Zakharyan ahead of the January transfer window, but it remains blocked by sanctions. The Blues agreed to a £12.6million deal to sign the 19-year-old in the summer but the deal collapsed due to FIFA and UEFA restrictions
on signing Russian players.
Zakharyan is reportedly in talks about changing his citizenship from Russian to Armenian in order to secure a move to Stamford Bridge.
Fabrizio Romano on Christopher Nkunku:
“Chelsea are working on it on both player and club side with RB Leipzig, and the next step has to be the contracts signing to consider the deal done. It’s a work in progress, and Chelsea are on it.”
