Chelsea F.C. had an exceptionally busy summer transfer window and are aiming to secure a swoop for a talented young forward following the horrific injury suffered by academy graduate Armando Broja
Chelsea Transfer News:

Graham Potter is allegedly close to signing David Datro Fofana, a wonderkid from Molde, as Chelsea looks to add his first player to the Stamford Bridge roster.
The former Brighton boss was chosen as Thomas Tuchel’s replacement in West London back in September, and with the January window starting the following month, he might be about to enter the market. They appear to have attack as one of their primary targets.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer after his backup Armando Broja suffered a serious knee injury. The Albanian forward encountered the problem during a mid-season friendly against Premier League rivals Aston Villa.

Chelsea have already been attempting to secure his potential replacement despite his injury. According to The Athletic, negotiations with Molde for the signing of 19-year-old forward Fofana are underway.
According to reports, a €10 million (£8.6 million) fee has been discussed, with the young striker seemingly set to join Chelsea. This season, Fofana, a two-time Ivorian international, has shone for Molde.

After progressing through the club’s youth system, he has gone on to score 21 goals for the Eliteserien side this season, helping the club win the Norwegian title. He is the most recent in a long line of talented players to emerge from the club.
He has already stated that he is a huge fan of the Blues and that joining the club would be a dream come true. “Chelsea have been my favorite club since I was a little,” the Ivorian forward told TV2 earlier this year.
Fofana, who joined Molde as a 16-year-old in the summer of 2019 from Ivorian club Abidjan City, now has two years left on his current deal. Given that new manager Todd Boehly spent substantially in the summer, he would be Chelsea’s first acquisition of the winter transfer window.

As a result of his thrilling exploits for the German team this season, RB Leipzig sensation Christopher Nkunku has also agreed to join the Blues, thus Fofana is not anticipated to be the only newcomer. According to reports, the goal is still for Nkunku to move as a new addition in June after getting Fofana.
