One player that Thomas Tuchel has been able to rely on for efficiency in front of goal, however, is England international Mason Mount.
Mount has scored more goals than any other Chelsea player since Tuchel arrived at the Stamford Bridge – six – and has seen himself take his performances to the next level.
Mount has silenced a lot of critics, making brilliant performances.
Mount performance has been on of the trending under Thomas Tuchel, and has recently attracted praise from Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.
The Portugal and Manchester United midfielder said:
“I really like Mason Mount – he’s been consistent from the beginning of the season but, if people will watch numbers he’s not had so many goals as other players or assists as other players but, for me, as performances he’s been really, really top.”
Mason Mount performances have been that impressive that his value has soared by more than £10m since January.
According to data provided by the CIES Football Observatory, the England ace now has a valuation of £106.3m, a jump from his previous valuation of £93.6m.
The latest data sees Mount sit tenth in the list of the highest-valued players in world football.
Mount is ahead of some big-names players like: Ruben Dias of Manchester City, England teammate Bukayo Saka, Borussia Dortmund winger and England teammate Jadon Sancho and Kylian Mbappe of PSG.
