Personal terms unlikely to be a problem in Chelsea‘s willingness to include Conor Gallagher in a deal to recruit Moises Caicedo, who is valued at £80 million.
Conor Gallagher may be included by Chelsea in a deal to capture Moises Caicedo, according to the Daily Mail.
The Blues’ pursuit of the young player is hampered by Brighton’s huge £80 million asking price, but they could potentially sweeten the deal by include the 23-year-old academy standout.
Following the debacle of the previous two transfer windows, Chelsea are in no position to make swift decisions. The Blues have spent a lot of money on new players under Todd Boehly’s ownership, which has produced an imbalance in the team.

Chelsea would have to drastically cut back on both their payroll and their players. Additionally, it has been said in several reports that Chelsea will need to raise substantial amounts of funds before to the deadline of June 30 in order to adhere to FFP regulations and balance their books.
It could be somewhat accurate, given that Chelsea is aggressively attempting to sell some of their first-team talents. Among them are Kai Havertz and Mason Mount. N’Golo Kante will also depart the club for Saudi Arabia.
Moises Caicedo remains their top target at that midfield position, but his asking price is becoming troublesome. Brighton wants a huge sum, even greater than the rumored £80 million. According to recent reports, the Seagulls owner may demand more over £100 million.
Chelsea are actively looking to find a viable solution for the Caicedo problem. They are reportedly willing to include Conor Gallager in the deal to reduce the price tag. They are also close to agreeing on personal terms with the midfielder as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues may make a case for Caicedo’s replacement by selling their 23-year-old homegrown star. Mahmoud Dahoud, however, was previously acquired by Brighton & Hove Albion on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
More importantly, Gallagher’s salary demands will not fit inside Brighton’s budget. The Seagulls, on the other hand, are interested in Levi Colwill. Chelsea have already turned down a £30 million approach from Brighton.
According to reports, Brighton would meet with Chelsea to look into a possible part exchange for Caicedo if Colwill is involved. Things are about to get difficult, though, as the Blues attempt to gather funds and make their first official offer for the Ecuadorian midfielder.
