Thomas Tuchel has found out his fate after a spat with Antonio Conte as the Premier League summer transfer window draws to a close - Chelsea is one of the busiest clubs in terms of transfer activity.

Chelsea is poised to play in the Premier League against Leeds United on Sunday, but there is much more going on inside the club.
The Blues may be hoping for a quieter game at Elland Road after the raucous and feisty ending to their 2-2 draw with Tottenham last weekend, the impact from which continues. Thomas Tuchel was sent off after a furious argument with Antonio Conte, and the Chelsea manager now knows what happened to him.
Meanwhile, with only 12 days till the deadline, the summer transfer window is heating up. As a result, things are starting to pick up speed, with updates abounding following a hectic few days for Todd Boehly.
Blues enquired about the availability of Manchester United defender Harry Maguire:
Manchester United‘s Harry Maguire has struggled recently, and the uncertainty surrounding his place in Erik ten Hag’s starting lineup has apparently spurred Chelsea to launch a transfer enquiry.

The Blues are already in talks with United regarding Christian Pulisic’s impending departure and have inquired about Maguire in a potential swap trade. Tuchel is eager for defensive reinforcements, and while Wesley Fofana appears to be the first priority, Chelsea appears to be keeping their options open.
Leicester have turned down two proposals in the area of £60 million for Fofana, and with Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Victor Lindelof on their books, United may be willing to sell their captain.
Tuchel fined by the FA:
Thomas Tuchel has been fined £35,000 and given a one-game suspension for his conduct in the spat with Antonio Conte last weekend, as well as comments against Anthony Taylor.

Tuchel got into a scuffle with Conte over the post-match handshakes before remarking that “maybe it would be best” if Taylor never refereed his team again. Conte was fined £15,000 for his actions.
Both managers admitted to inappropriate conduct, and Tuchel will remain on the sidelines for the Leeds game.
🚨 Breaking: Thomas Tuchel will serve a one-match touchline ban for Chelsea and has been fined £35,000 after an altercation with Antonio Conte. Tuchel's ban has been temporarily suspended while the reasons are being prepared. He will be on the touchline for Chelsea's trip to Leeds. No touchline ban for Antonio Conte, but only £15k fine. Gordon’s departure is not ruled out by Lampard:
Everton manager Frank Lampard has refused to reassure fans that Anthony Gordon will remain at the club once the transfer market ends.

So far, the Toffees have turned down a £45 million approach from Chelsea for the England under-21 winger.
“Selling players, just as it is with bringing players in, it has to be a joined up say so,” Lampard said on Friday.
“When you’re talking about the level of player Anthony is and the value of player, we know what those kind of players go for.
“It’s a serious situation on a football and a club business level, simple as that. If you can join those two up and make the right decision… the football one is the most important to me, because that is what I’m judged on. But we know his value, and that he’ll be here at the end of the window – who knows. I don’t want to get into hypotheticals.”
