Chelsea are in the hunt to sign a new big-name striker this summer, but things have quietened down in recent days on this front.

All the stories and talk has been surrounding Chelsea’s attempts to sign Inter Milan wing-back, Achraf Hakimi.

So any noise and reports surrounding signing a new striker, Erling Haaland in particular, has died down somewhat.

This could mean a number of things. We know Chelsea like to try and conduct their business behind closed doors if they can, so with it being so quiet it could means things are happening that none of us are aware of.

However, Sport1, as cited by Sport Witness, Erling Haaland remains the priority for Chelsea, but on their ‘list’ also is Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

They claim that Chelsea have the ‘economic means’ to sign Lewandowski, with his wife also hinting a move away from Bayern this summer could be a possibility, which is also detailed in the report.
