Chelsea FC to ‘make massive swap deal offer’ as they face new Mykhailo Mudryk dilemma

Should Chelsea FC is successful in landing their top target, Mykhailo Mudryk could experience fewer chances at Stamford Bridge the next season.

Chelsea Online News:
No doubt Mudryk has injected some life into a disappointing Chelsea squad since his arrival

With Chelsea FC currently in pursuit of AC Milan star Rafael Leao, the west London club run the risk of pushing Mykhailo Mudryk down the lineup. The forward is Stamford Bridge’s top target, and sources have it that the club is considering a deal in which some of its peripheral players would move to Italy.

Leao has emerged as one of Europe’s most promising young players this season, drawing attention from a number of teams thanks to his performances at the San Siro. Several teams, including Manchester City, have been heavily linked with the Portugal international, but Chelsea FC are reportedly trying to steal him away.

Even though Milan and the 23-year-old are now discussing a contract extension, interest is not anticipated to be dampened by a hefty offer. Regardless of his contract situation, Chelsea is reportedly interested in Leao and is planning a swap deal to sign him.

One of the players being considered as makeweights in the deal is Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has already drawn interest from AC Milan ahead of the summer transfer window.

Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi are reportedly also “on AC Milan’s radar,” and regardless of who the team’s new manager is, the two players already seem to be superfluous for the team.

Mudryk has injected some life into a disappointing Chelsea squad, but his lack of composure in the final third has prevented him from leaving a lasting impression. It remains to be seen if Mauricio Pochettino’s impending arrival at Stamford Bridge will give Mudryk a confidence boost. According to reports, the Argentine is sure he can help the 22-year-old reach the same heights that Son Heung-min did while they were teammates at Tottenham.
