Furious Chelsea fans have clubbed together online to pressure Twitter to remove the blue check mark of Sevilla’s official account.

AS reports Sevilla lost their blue check today as Twitter caved into pressure from Chelsea fans around the world angry over their refusal to sell Jules Kounde.

The account in Spanish of Sevilla has more than one million followers on the social network. The accounts in English, the women’s section and the academy, among others, had retained the insignia.

There’s been some anger from Chelsea’s support amid reports of Sevilla upping their asking price during marathon negotiations.

It’s now suggested Chelsea won’t be able to sign Kounde unless they meet his €80m buyout clause today.
