Tuchel has a message for players.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has urged his side to ‘forget’ the Champions League success of last season and ‘restart’ again ahead of the upcoming 2021/22 season.
The German now has a big job in bringing his players back down to earth ahead of the new season. Pre-season for his side has started well, with a 6-1 thrashing over newly-promoted Championship side Peterborough United just what was needed to showcase the intent and hunger required going into the new Premier League season.
Despite the great achievements of the last campaign, the Chelsea boss has urged his team to hit a factory reset and at the same time, show the attitude required in training to prepare sufficiently for the next chapter.
Speaking on what he’s looking for in his players, Tuchel said:

“We always look for attitude, they are all full of talent so we look for attitude. If we hire, we hire for attitude.
The 47-year-old added: “The team set the bar high, it’s what we demand for ourselves.
“The way we approach things, how we are together, when we are together, how do we train, what do we train and if we can live up to it.
“This team did that, from the beginning to the very end and now a big part of our job is to forget the success and restart again.
“I demand it from the players and from myself.”
Thomas Tuchel has only been training with a section of his first-team squad, as a large chunk of Chelsea’s senior players have yet to return
