The first offer falls £18 million short of Inter’s estimate for the goalie. According to Matt Law of The Telegraph, Todd Boehly will fall far short of the Serie A team’s asking of €60 million (£52 million) for his services this summer.

In their talks with Inter Milan, Chelsea FC have a number of choices to consider. Inter are interested in Romelu Lukaku, who recently declared his love for the club. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also thought to be on Inter’s radar.

Fortunately for Chelsea, the Italian newspaper believes Onana “would like to join the Premier League team,” implying that the upcoming meeting between the two clubs is very important.
