Tony Cascarino believes that Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has been given “a new lease of life” since working with manager Thomas Tuchel.
Cesar Azpilicueta, deserves legendary Blues status for everything he’s achieved at Stamford Bridge since joining back in 2012.

The Spanish defender has won the Champions League, Premier League (two), Europa League (two), UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and League Cup.
Despite his list of achievements, he remains the most professional individual at Cobham and is the perfect example to the younger players.
Cascarino believes that Tuchel’s appointment as manager in January has helped Azpilicueta’s form massively.

“César Azpilicueta has experience in abundance and has been given a new lease of life under Thomas Tuchel,” Cascarino wrote for The Times.
However, the Spaniard is not affected by Tuchel’s formation change.
He’s an expert as the right-sided centre-back in the back three, something he did so successfully under ex-boss Antonio Conte. Also, he has performed at right wing-back when needed, too.
It makes such a difference on the pitch when Tuchel stacks it with leaders and the defence looks so reliable in the big games.

Azpilicueta’s minutes at Chelsea were threatened by superb full-back Reece James, but the system allows both to play.
