While Jurgen Klopp would prefer to have the Three Lions star at Anfield, incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep hold of Mason Mount.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will not compete in any European competition next season, while United only need a point tonight to send Liverpool to the Europa League.

In the Champions League clash against Manchester City two years ago, Mason Mount assisted on the game-winning goal. Therefore, it won’t be shocking to see him choose a team that can play in the Champions League.

Mason Mount has been in and out of the team this season as a result of injury worries and hasn’t played in the league at all since February.

The 36-cap international is capable of performing well in the No. 10 position, on the wings, and even in the center of midfield. The dynamic attacker is a major favorite of Erik ten Hag, who wants to hire him this summer, according to The Guardian.
