Reece James has appeared in fewer than half of Chelsea’s games this season, but he is now back in the squad.

Chelsea Online News:
Reece James has only appeared in less than half of Chelsea’s games this season

Reece James‘ return to training after missing out due to illness and tightness in his leg muscles has handed Chelsea huge boost.

The 23-year-old is expected to be available for Saturday’s match at Stamford Bridge against Everton after joining the rest of the team for training on Tuesday morning.

After missing the World Cup in Qatar owing to a knee injury, James will then hope to be summoned back into the England squad on Thursday.

Yet, the defender has only appeared in less than half of Chelsea‘s games this year, so the Blues are aware that they will need to carefully manage him in the weeks following the international break.

N’Golo Kante, who has been out for more than six months, could make his Chelsea return against Everton as well, though he is projected to be on the bench.
