Liverpool are hoping to bring in Feyenoord midfielder Orkan Kokcu, as well as the other midfielders that are linked with the club.

The Reds are closing in on a deal for Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister, and talks with Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram are also said to be progressing.
According to Football Transfers, Feyenoord star Kokcu is another player the Reds are interested in signing.

However, the catch is that Liverpool will have to rely on Jorg Schmadtke, the club’s new sporting director, to close the deal for Jurgen Klopp.
This past season, Kokcu was one of the Eredivisie’s top players. Arne Slot was strongly reported to be moving to Tottenham, therefore it was expected that he would follow his manager to North London.

Any dreams Tottenham had of signing Kokcu appear to be gone now that Slot has decided to remain in Holland.
Liverpool is therefore aiming to take advantage of the opportunity and approach Kokcu. Even though deals for Thuram and Mac Allister seem to be getting closer, Jurgen Klopp still wants the midfielder.

Orkan Kokcu appears to be getting better by the year, and he was vital in Feyenoord winning the Dutch title this season.

He appears to be ready to take the next step in his career. Of course, Liverpool FC would be a significant step up in terms of quality and expectations.
But, given that he led Feyenoord last season, there can’t be many doubts about his ability to handle the pressure.
