Chelsea are keen on signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise and have lodged an opening proposal of Β£39m ($51m) including add-ons, according to RMC Sport.

Michael Olise, who sustained a hamstring injury with England at the European U21 Championships, is interested in joining the Blues and has agreed in principle to the move.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City is also interested in Olise, who has two goals and 11 assists in 37 Premier League outings for Palace last season.

However, Olise’s torn hamstring has forced both City and Chelsea to look into the extent of his injury since it has created questions over his availability at the start of the season.

While Olise and Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle, the deal is still subject to finalizing a fee with Palace and resolving any injury-related concerns.

As negotiations between the player and the clubs continue, Olise’s potential move to Chelsea remains an attractive prospect.
