Carlo Ancelotti has dropped a massive update on Eden Hazard’s summer move, with hints of Chelsea’s return.
Chelsea Transfer News:
With Carlo Ancelotti‘s honest assessment of Eden Hazard’s prospects at Real Madrid, the former Chelsea star could well be forced to depart in the summer.
After consistently fighting for playing time with the European champions, the 32-year-future old’s there is becoming more and more questionable. In the 18 months time, Hazard’s contract at the Santiago Bernabeu will expire, and there are no indications that a new one will be signed.
A return to Stamford Bridge has been mentioned as one potential option. In order to pursue his “dream” move, Hazard left Chelsea almost four years ago. However, the Β£89 million transfer to Spain hasn’t really gone according to plan because of the numerous injuries that have limited his playing time.

After losing out to Federico Valverde and Vinicius Junior in Ancelotti’s pecking order this season, Hazard was rumoured to be leaving the club in January. But earlier this year, Eden Hazard made it clear that he was looking to succeed and prove his worth.
Speaking to RTBF, he said: “I would like to stay. I have always said it. I hope to play to show that I can still do it. People have doubts, it’s normal. I understand it really good. But for me, I’m still here next year.
A return to Chelsea has been suggested as a possibility, and with Hazard’s future in Spain seemingly uncertain, Todd Boehly may consider the move.
